Hi All!

 

Please complete your TV episode for Monday. Remember, the big three requirements are:

1) Your episode has a clear conflict and resolution.

2) You create and describe at least two characters. 

3) Incorporate your vocabulary words (2 for regular and 5 for honors)

 

You can write out your episode in paragraph form, create a scripts, a comic strip, a video, or any other way that inspires you. Have fun! Get creative!

We are going to begin our independent reading. Each month you will be asked to read a book and complete a project. This month the only requirements are that the book be fictional and 100 pages (150 for HONORS) or more. 

 

Please select your book tonight. Write down the title and the author, and bring that to class on the assigned due date. I will give you more information then.

There will be a parts of plot quiz on Tues/Wed of next week. Please be familiar with the plot pyramid, summary writing, and the different types of characters. I have attached the link to the Prezi from class below.
