We have started practicing Cornell Notes (Focused Note Taking) the paper is attached if students want to make copies. But "Cornell Paper" is not required, students can use regular notebook paper.

Please find attached the AVID Mission statement that goes with the handout you received in class. The goal is to cut the statement down to 20 words. First read, and highlight terms and words that you think are the most important. Then choose 20 to fill in the lines on the handout.
