This assignment was collected Jan. 22, and returned to students with feedback, for those who would like to improve their grade it can be redone and resubmitted for full credit by February 14. This assignment is not optional but the original can be improved as an opportunity for students looking to improve their grade and improve their historical writing skills.

 

Supplies: Many students have run out of their fall school supplies, especially pens, pencils and lined notebook paper. Please have your student restock their supplies so they are prepared for class. Classroom donations are always welcome and very appreciated-lined paper, pencils, pens.

Grades are due Tuesday February 13, this means if you were planning to resubmit the Bedouin Assignment it will need to be turned in no later than 2:30 on Tuesday.

Attached are the powerpoint notes and the Successes and Failures of Charlemagne.  Identify which category, Cultural, Religious, or Military each of the successes and failures should be in. We will review these categories in class when we meet.

Attached is the Heraldic Crest Assignment, the page of symbols is a suggestion you may do research if there is another symbol not listed. Remember to put the paragraph of the explanation of the symbols and your connection on the back of the crest. Please do neat and thoughtful work.

Geography Quiz on Tuesday/Wednesday 10/31 & 11/1. Attached is a blank map for practice. The countries and land forms that will need to be identified were given during the Warm Up on Thursday& Friday.

Many students were out today for field trips, please watch CNN 10 for today and then we did Warm Up #1attached and took notes on the Geography of Europe also attached. We started our Map of Europe that you pick up in class on Monday.

Unit 1 Rome Test, all assignments for this unit are due the day of the test.

The Unit 1 Test on Rome will be Tuesday 10/17. Attached is the study guide, the Unit 1 packet of assignments will also be due. Here is the list of the assignments. If the assignments are incomplete they will not receive credit. Many of these were done in class and/or assigned as homework.
