Course Description
Welcome to Singing Panthers 6th/7th Grade Choir!
Singing Panthers Choir is a performance class for students in their first year of choir at CCMS. Students gain knowledge and skills in proper vocal technique, unison and two or three-part singing, music reading, notation, terminology, ear training, critical analysis, and music history. Students experience a varied repertoire in music in different languages, cultures, and stylistic periods. Singing Panthers students perform in three school concerts a year, and often collaborate with performing ensembles from across the district.

You're invited...to a Vox Femina Concert in Culver City on Sunday, April 23
You're invited to hear the Vox Femina choir perform once again, on Sunday, April 23rd at 3:00 pm. Singing Panthers, this is the choir that Ms. Koplinka-Loehr sings with and with whom Voicestra performed in "Carmina Burana" last month! Feel free to bring as many family members and friends as you would like; the concert is FREE! Please see attached flyer for details.

Please see the attached flier for a reminder of our upcoming All-District Concert on Thursday, February 16th, 2017, at 6:30pm at Vet's Auditorium. Students need to come to Vet's at 5:15pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

(At the corner of Culver Blvd. and Overland Ave.)
Students, please come to Vet’s Auditorium at 6:00pm to warm up.
Student Dress:
- White top (No spaghetti straps or t-shirts, please)
- Black pants or skirt (Skirts should be knee-length or longer)
- Black dress shoes
