On 3/5/19 and 3/6/19 is the Benchmark test on Pressure.

 

Please spend time reviewing your notes and past assignments and in class worksheet, and lab on Air Pressure. 

On  3/5/19 and 3/6/19 all classes will be taking the Benchmark test on Air Pressure. Please review all past labs on air pressure, notes, in class worksheets, and past assignments.

1. Bring Notebook up to date.  Notebook check (Remember all students  will only get full points for their  Notebooks when  all the activity sheets are completed with the correct answers.

Complete all HW on the properties of water and the three key words and two key questions that was copied down in class.

2. How are the volume temperature, and pressure of a gas related?

2. The test for Water  will be given on 2/20/19 and 2/21/19.

3. Review all your study guides on water, properties of water , all labs on water, and all other reading guides on water.

Make a booklet about water and answer the questions. 

To make your booklet take a look at the sample  and design your booklet with 14 columns. 

Write questions for each heading about water. 

You are going to formulate the questions based on the headings that you have. For example, the first column is saying Forming a  Water Molecule questions should be (How water molecules are formed?)

1. Complete all Activity sheet/ Lab Reflections and CER that you got since  we got back from winter       break that was not completed.

2. Notebook check on 1/24/ 19 and 1/25/19. Make sure all activity sheets that you have since you        returned from winter break  are glued  or stapled in. 

3. Research Water. Just find an article on water for example what makes water act the way it does        (flow, types of molecules, types of bonds) You can print your research for water off the internet or       you can write your answers in your notebooks.

Define the following key words and use this as a study guide for this weeks quiz

 

abiotic, biodiversity, biosphere, biotic, carrying capacity, community, ecology, ecosystem,exponential growth, habitat, invasive species, limiting factor, logistic growth, neich, population, population crash predatory-prey cycle.

 

Review this weeks notes and look at types of symbiotic relationships, life cycle of moth and butterfly.

 

 

Notebook check/Make sure all papers are glued in, warm ups are complete, notes are completed and worksheets are completed correctly. 

Study for quiz on Thursday/Friday, take a look at past notes on ecology, migration (spring and fall) of the monarchs, diapause, graphs (Bar and line), food web and chain, everything else in ecology.

 

1. Annotate the the Monarch Reading guide on (Monarch are Lovely but Poisonous and              answer the questions). 

 

2. Monarch Dilemmas will be completed in class. Please do not gule any of the Monarch's          Dilemmas in your notebook.

 

3. Study all your past notes on monarch and other animals migration, overwintering sites, differences between male and female monarchs, life cycle, food web and chain, energy Pyramid. (check your notebook for past activities and notes)

Bring notebook up to date make sure all your pages are glued in

 

Observe an animal or your pet and answer the following questions in paragraph form. Periods 1 and 5 will get their hard copy of the Pet Observation and a piece of Poster paper on 9/17/18.
