Create a public service announcement (PSA) about air pollution and exercise. You may work in groups or individually.

You will upload your project to Seesaw so that other students can see it!

What your PSA needs to include:
Air Pollution
---What causes air pollution?
Human Body Effects
---Why is it even more harmful to your body to exercise in air pollution?
---How can we minimize the effects of air pollution on our bodies when we exercise?
Prevention
---How can we reduce air pollution?

You have 3 Options to create your PSA.
🍁Option 1: Video
🍁Option 2: Brochure/Flyer
🍁Option 3: Comic Strip

YOU MUST USE OUR CLASSROOM INFORMATION AND YOU CANNOT COPY AND PASTE FROM THE INTERNET - this is plagiarism and you will be given a zero or asked to redo your project. You will need to go back and look at the information given in assignments 1-15 to help you.
THIS IS NOT A RESEARCH PROJECT! Use the material we have given you during this unit!

11-Cell Project in Google Classroom

11-Cell Project

You will be turning in your project by taking a picture or video and posting it on seesaw. You MUST make a project without using technology! This is a hands-on project! Link to seesaw attached.

You get to pick one of the following options to make. The project has to be done without a computer but you will submit a picture or video of it on seesaw so I can grade it. You will also show your project to the class in a breakout room. Be sure to put effort into your project. It should be NEAT, creative and colorful!
___________________________________________________________

Option 1 - Create a “found objects” sculpture art cell model out of materials that represent the function of each organelle in the cell. Be sure to label which organelle the found thing represents AND describe it’s function. For example - a battery could represent the mitochondria since a battery provides energy like the mitochondria provides energy to the cell. Create a sculpture that uses a battery as a mitochondria.
___________________________________________________________

Option 2 - Create a 3D cell model out of creative materials. Be sure to label both the organelles and the function of each organelle.
___________________________________________________________

Option 3 - Draw AND COLOR a picture on a piece of paper of a cell system analogy like the example below. Pick any system (a TV, a sports team, video game console) and choose parts of the system that represents each organelle in the cell. The functions of the parts of your system should have a similar job to the functions of the organelles of a cell.

DO NOT DRAW AND LABEL A CELL THAT IS NOT ONE OF THE OPTIONS!!!!!
