<div>&nbsp;Each student received a blue and pink handout today which explain the defense process for the class. &nbsp;Unit 2 assessments will be administered next Mon-Wed. &nbsp;I will return all tests back on Thursday and Friday. &nbsp;Students will then be able to complete the pink form and know their grade in the class. &nbsp;If they (or you) are not happy with the grade, the student may choose to defend &nbsp;one or more categories. &nbsp;The defenses will take place AFTER winter break. &nbsp;The dates and requirements are on the blue handout. &nbsp;ALL students must turn in a signed pink paper on January 4th. &nbsp;Students who wish to defend, must also turn in the signed blue paper.</div>

<div>My students spent over 23 hours on ixl.com last week doing 4,688 problems! &nbsp;Forty families contributed to the fund with 4 families donating $100 each. &nbsp;Thank you!!! &nbsp;I collected $1294 and the cost of the subscription was $900. &nbsp;With that being said, I have two options of what I could do with the extra money. &nbsp;1) &nbsp;Give the $394 to Panther Partners and ask that the earmark the money for something to be used in class at a later date.
