Yesterday we looked at attendance data to establish if there was a "health concern" at Truman, Kennedy, Jackson, and Roosevelt Middle School. Students came to the conclusion that there was, in fact, a health concern, but only at Truman and Jackson Middle School.

We filled out "Analyzing Attendance Data" which helped us organize our thoughts and got us to look closely at particularly interesting data. I will attach this form below. The completed form belongs on 19 R.

Today we continued our investigation into the health concerns at Truman and Jackson Middle School. Students were asked what would the next steps in their investigation if they were actual health investigators. Classes came to the conclusion that they would test the water, talk to the parents, see if the students came into contact with any other sick people or animals, see if there were patterns where they hung out, etc. I was impressed with their creativity!

Students were provided with interviews from parents and school calendars for Truman and Jackson which will be attached below. This is the data they were analyzing, so it does not belong in the notebooks.
