									<div>Yeah, I finally was able to upload my pictures for those students who were absent last week! The poem is not due on Monday. Just thought some of you may want to work on it.</div>

<li>There is a picture of my lesson on a part of speech - <strong>interjections</strong> (like the one I used in the first sentence of this post!)</li>
<li>The second two pictures are of the worksheet for the "Alliteration Poem" project. Alliteration is a type of figurative language (repetition of consonant letters) -"... soft, silky snow"</li>
<li>students are coming up with their own "creature" and giving it a name which must start with a consonant letter (any letter except vowels). Then students are creating a poem (does not need to rhyme), alliterating most of the words with the same letter that your creature starts with. See the examples on the worksheet.</li>
<li>Have fun and I hope everyone is feeling better.</li>
