Math 6 Work for Thursday 3/19/20

Today is a another practice day! Our unit test for integers and graphing will be soon (but after Spring Break). You have several more practice assignments that you need to complete today.

1. Review the Notes and watch the videos on solving problems on the coordinate plane. If you can, print the notes and copy them along with the video, I think that would be best. If you look at the notes and think you can do them without the video, give it a try and then check the answer key

2. Complete the IXL sections assigned - 6th grade X5 and X6 to 70
If you did not complete the IXL sections about integers earlier in the unit, I would recommend that you complete them this week or during Spring Break. That was assigned earlier in the unit.

3. Complete the google form - More Problem Solving on the coordinate plane. Be sure to look over your answers after you have submitted them and ask questions if you got something wrong. This your exit ticket to spring break :)

Dear students,

Tomorrow I will have virtual "office hours" for Math 6 only from 10:30am to 11:30am. I can see from IXL that some of you are having trouble graphing points and being able to tell what the ordered pairs are when a point is already labeled on a graph. These skills are 6th grade X1 and X2 on IXL. If you want some help with these skills or if you are having trouble accessing anything online for Math class, please join me online tomorrow morning. To join the group video chat, click the link below on a computer or chromebook. For a chromebook, it will probably ask you to allow the extension. You do not need an account, you only need to join the meeting that I created.
