Week of April 7 - 10
This week, students will focus on review and reinforcement of Unit 7 math concepts:
Area of parallelograms, triangles, and composite shapes
Surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms
Volume of rectangular, triangular, and compound prisms

The Unit 7 Test will NOT happen this week. More information will be coming soon about the Unit 7 Test.

1) Weekly Student Check-In (Required)
Complete the quick Google Form so your teacher knows that you are seeing the online instructions for this week. This will become a weekly routine and should be completed EVERY Monday/Tuesday. To find the check-in form, go to the “Classwork” Tab above and look for the “Weekly Student Check-In” topic.

2) Active Practice - Complete at least TWO of the Active Practice choices by Fri, April 10 at 3pm. To find the assignments, go to the “Classwork” Tab above and look for the “Active Practice” choices for this week (April 7 - 10).

a) Unit 7 Test Practice (Google Quiz)
For the automated scoring to work properly, please ONLY record the number of your answer without a label (for example; if your answer is 32 cm, then just write 32 as your answer.)

b) Unit 7 Test Review - Leveled Practice (PDF)
When finished, score your work with the Answer Key below. You will not turn this in.

c) How Many Boxes? (Google Form)

For each Google Form assignment, be sure to click “submit” and then review the answers provided on the Google Form.

Reminder: Seek out help during office hours, if you find that you are having difficulty or are getting incorrect answers while practicing.

4) Zoom Class Meeting
There will be a Period 0 Zoom Class Meeting on Tuesday and Friday, April 7 and 10th at 7:30am Join us if you can!
