How is everyone holding up? Sincerely hope all is great.  I recently uploaded instructions on how to upload video for Yo Soy Poem.  My advice is to use your cell phone and make sure you record yourself somewhere in your home that is quiet.  Please make sure to practice, practice, practice before submitting your video.  Again, follow instructions and upload on attached google form (not google doc.).  Remember, my office hours are Mon. through Fri. between 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm. 2. Quarter Grades - If you were absent this past week, please send copy of missing assignments via email at jamesrivera@ccusd.org no later than 1pm today.  Please note, I am not accepting any late assignments (you know who you are).  This is just for those who were absent. 

3.  Projects and Assignments - Please check Edlio and Google classroom daily for assignment due dates.  And Yes, you are still completing projects! I will follow up with specific class emails within the next hour. I will also be adding future assignments via google classroom. And just like always, due dates are important! So please make sure you are submitting assignments on time.  No excuses.  

4.  When sending emails, please make sure to fill out RE: (regarding or in reference to).  It is proper email etiquette to let someone know what your email is regarding or reference to.  Please reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.  Thank you and be safe.

Happy Hump Day! I wanted to reach out and share some important dates for assessments and projects. 

1. Spanish Exploratory Assessment on 9/26/19 (Comidas, Bebidas, y verbos): All practice vocab and notes have been provided.  Please assist in making sure your child practices/reviews in order to do great! 

2. SLA Food Truck Project - Students began working on their projects/presentations as of last week.  All presentations will begin during the week of Oct. 14, and have attached guidelines and requirements on google classroom.  Please reach out via email at jamesrivera@ccusd.org in case you have any questions or concerns.  This project emphasis on the Spanish speaking, reading and writing, as well as research skills and creativity.  Please be aware that students can also record themselves at home in case you do not want your child bringing a sample display dish.  This project is not meant to be a pot luck day.  Thank you for all that you do!
