About Ms. Méndez
Hello and welcome to the 2021 - 2022 school year! My name is Ms. Nickte (pronounced Nick-teh) Méndez and I am teaching Science 7 and Science 8 this year. This is my 4th year at CCUSD and my 7th year teaching.
I am born and raised in Southern California. I received a bachelor's degree in Biology from CSUN and a master's degree in Ecology and Evolution from CSUN. I enjoy taking short hikes in the woods amongst the California native plants.
I have a daughter who attended El Rincon Elementary, CCMS, and graduated from CCHS in 2019, and is currently studying chemistry at UC San Diego, Go Tritons! I therefore feel personally invested in this school and all students.
