Holiday Gift Drive will take place Monday, December 2- Friday December 13. Please consider donating a new, unused and unwrapped gift that you would like to receive!

Please consider donating something that your 6th-8th grade student would like to receive.

Please, no military themed toys.

Report cards were mailed today! 8th graders with one or more "F" in any subject will be automatically enrolled in ZAP! during AEIOU. They will also be enrolled in Intervention. Students on Intervention are required to complete 3 hours of tutoring either after school, or at Saturday Success. If your child has one or more "F" grade on their report card, please call me for more information and to set up a conference with teachers. 

Today we celebrated students who graduated out of ZAP! with an ice cream social during AEIOU. Students who no longer had any "F" grades on their report card were invited to attend.

Need your help understanding social media!

I want to create a presentation to give at Back to School Night. This presentation will inform parents about all the different types of social media. If you spend time on Facebook, Instagram, Kik, or any other social media website, I would like your input! 

I don't need personal information about your account, just an idea of how teenagers are using these sites, what the up and coming sites are, and any other general information parents of middle schoolers might need to know.

Seeking kind and friendly 8th graders to help welcome new students to our district!

The time commitment on this is low. I am creating a pool of current CCMS students who are willing to eat lunch with new-to-CCUSD kids. This will ideally start the first day of school, so email me now if you're willing!
