Student Awards

8th Grade Awards

Each of our 8th Grade teachers gives out 3 awards to students from their classes who they felt made an impact this school year.
  • Most Improved Award: recognizes students who have made tremendous gains in their class this year.
  • Consistent Citizen Award: recognizes students who are consistent in their positive behavior and attendance in their class.
  • PRIDEful Panther Award: recognizes students who demonstrate all aspects of Panther PRIDE: Preparedness, Respectfulness, Demonstrating Integrity, Diligence, and Engagement this year in their class.

Panther Honor Roll 

The following criteria must be met in order to be on the Panther Honor Roll at the end of each Semester. A minimum 3.5 grade point average is required. Grade point averages are not rounded off (a 3.49 is not rounded off to a 3.50). All grades must be A, B, C. All citizenship and work habit grades must be O or S. Students will be awarded a certificate each semester after grades are confirmed.
