Students who have earned an A in Math 6 at the semester and the third quarter may request the opportunity to take a placement test at the end of the school year to determine readiness for placement into Accelerated Math 7 in seventh grade.  The placement will be given after school on Thursday, June 1. Permission slips for the test are due no later than Friday May 26th.  Please note that this option will require additional study and preparation by the student as many of the standards required for Accelerated Math 7 are not taught in the Math 6 class.
