LIBRARY: All library books were due yesterday. The library will be closed to all classes and students through the rest of the school year. Home set of textbooks will be due for the following grades: 7th grade: Today during 2nd period; and 6th grade: Tues., 6/8 during 1st period.

 

LUNCH WITH A SCIENTIST: On Monday, June 7, Dr. Daniel Javaherian, who does research in Anesthesiology, will be here. Dr. Tripati, a climatologist will be here on Wednesday, June 9. Please join us both days in Room 235 and bring your lunch with you.

 

YEARBOOKS: You may purchase yearbooks after school Tuesday and Thursday in Room 131 for $45.00 cash only. The top 10 reasons to buy your yearbook: #4: To remember the people you had a crush on!

 

ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: The Portfolio Exit Interviews will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week in the Multipurpose Room. Please make sure you know what time your appointment is scheduled.

 

ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: Sign-up NOW for the 8th grade Student v. Staff Fast Pitch Softball Game to be held on Tuesday, June 8th. Please contact Mr. Ross in Room 139 or Mr. Teetzel in Room 110 if you would like to play. All 8th grade eligibility rules apply.

 

ALL CHESS AND GAMES CLUB MEMBERS: Please be sure to come to Room 130 on Monday, June 7th. This will be our last meeting of the year. Mr. Adamucci will be challenging you ALL to a "Simultaneous Chess Game," AND, we will be taking pictures for the newspaper on that day.

 

APPROPRIATE ATTIRE: Please remember that students are not to wear sandals or flip flops to school for safety reasons.

 

CCHS CHEERLEADING: Any student interested in trying out for the 2010-11 CCHS cheerleading team must pick up an athletic packet from the High School office ASAP and attend a mandatory information session TODAY at 3:30 in the cafeteria. We will be discussing try-out dates, requirements, and the up-coming season. Hope to see you there!

 

PARENT MEETINGS: Please remind your parent that the last meetings of the year will be held on Wednesday, June 9: Panther Partners from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Staff Lounge and PTSA will meet in the Multipurpose Room from 6:30 to 8 pm.

 

LUNCH FOR TODAY: Today’s special is BYO Chili Bean Nachos; Sweet & Sour Chicken. Freshly Made Sandwiches and Salads offered daily. There is Fresh Fruit & Salad Bar at each serving station. Just a reminder: all cafeteria accounts must be paid in full prior to the end of the school year and credit balance will be rolled over to the next school year. E-funds automated payments will be temporarily shut off for the summer; beginning July 1, your regularly scheduled automatic payments will stop and resume on August 23.

 

BREAKFAST FOR MONDAY: The special is Breakfast Sandwich. Fruit and Yogurt, Whole Grain Cereal or Yogurt & String Cheese, Fresh Fruit, and a variety of Milk & Juice. Breakfast is $1.75.
