LIBRARY: All library books are now past due. If you owe money for lost books it must be paid in cash; outstanding balances will result in 8th graders not getting their promotion certificate and report cards will be withheld for all grade levels. The library is closed to all classes and students through the rest of the school year. Home set of textbooks will be due for the following grades: 6th grade: Tues., 6/8 during 1st period.
 
LUNCH WITH A SCIENTIST: Today Dr. Daniel Javaherian, who does research in Anesthesiology, will be here. Dr. Tripati, a climatologist will be here on Wednesday, June 9. Please join us both days in Room 235 and bring your lunch with you.
 
YEARBOOKS: You may purchase yearbooks after school Tuesday and Thursday in Room 131 for $45.00 cash only. The top 10 reasons to buy your yearbook: #3: To remember all the clubs, sports, or activities you participated in this year!
 
ATTENTION 8TH GRADERS: The Portfolio Exit Interviews will take place today, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week in the Multipurpose Room. Please make sure you know what time your appointment is scheduled. The Student vs. Faculty Softball game is Tuesday, June 8 during 5th period. The 8th Grade Awards Assembly will be held on Thursday, June 10 is by invitation only. Friday, June 11 is the Student vs. Faculty Basketball game during 6th period. Please remember to be in front of school by 4:30 p.m. as the buses leave for Magic Mountain by 5 pm. You MUST have your student ID with you in order to board the bus.
 
ALL CHESS AND GAMES CLUB MEMBERS: Please be sure to come to Room 130 TODAY. This will be our last meeting of the year. Mr. Adamucci will be challenging you ALL to a "Simultaneous Chess Game," AND, we will be taking pictures for the newspaper on that day.
 
PARENT MEETINGS: Please remind your parent that the last meetings of the year will be held on Wednesday, June 9: Panther Partners from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Staff Lounge and PTSA will meet in the Multipurpose Room from 6:30 to 8 pm.
 
LUNCH FOR TODAY: Today’s special is Chicken Teriyaki Sliders with Steamed Rice. Freshly Made Sandwiches and Salads offered daily. There is Fresh Fruit & Salad Bar at each serving station. Just a reminder: all cafeteria accounts must be paid in full prior to the end of the school year and credit balance will be rolled over to the next school year. E-funds automated payments will be temporarily shut off for the summer; beginning July 1, your regularly scheduled automatic payments will stop and resume on August 23.
 
BREAKFAST FOR TOMORROW: The special is Coffee Cake with Sausage. Fruit and Yogurt, Whole Grain Cereal or Yogurt & String Cheese, Fresh Fruit, and a variety of Milk & Juice. Breakfast is $1.75.
 
CAUGHT YOU BEING GOOD: My apologies for not reading Caught You Being Good winners last Friday. Congratulations to the following students who have been Caught Being Good: Evan, Ryan, Daniel, Kelvin, Camilla, Ivan, Jamison, Julisa, Raiden, and Chad.
