There is no homework this week.  Grades are completed!

The final copy of the graph is due.  This graph is to be created based upon the data collected around the survey taken over the last week.  The graph will be collected, graded, and returned on the same.  The final overall grade will be updated by the end of the day on Friday, June 2nd.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, students are to survey a minimum of 15 people, but can obvioulsy survey more.   Students decided on a survey question in class on Thursday/Friday and are to collect data based on their specific survey question.  Several students volunteered their survey question ideas, where and how they would collect their data.  I was very happy with the work that most students did in class.  There are some very interesting questions and I look forward to hearing all about the surveys next week!  In class next week, students will make a rough draft graph of their data and submit a final draft on Thursday/Friday, June 1st/2nd.  This final draft will count towards one's grade.

Math Career Poster Final can be turned in today.  This is part 2 from the instructions on spiral page 13.  Students can turn this in on Monday or the following day that they see me. (Tuesday, September 13th, or Wednesday, September 14th)

Spiral page 13 Part 1 ONLY.  We are starting a math career poster project.  Part one is to interview an adult and ask how math is used in their career.  A math problem should also be given from the interviewee.  The directions are in the spiral on page 13 and the interview should be written on page 12.  Remember the interview written on page 12 is the only part due this week.  Next week the final poster is due.
