Complete the Squid Activity Sheet and Earth's Internal Processes

 

On the back of Question of the Earth's Internal Processes take a look at question (iv which is the last question on 3 (b). Cross out Draw the Bottom layer of the Figure. Only Label the Four Epochs that form a mirror image on both side of the spreading seafloor.

Study  all your notes we cover on the rock cycle, types of rocks, Salton sea, Photosynthesis, Cellular respiration.

Page 122 Complete Review Key Concept and answer Questions 1 and 2. Do all of a, b, and c for each questions. Write out the questions and answers in your notebooks.

Page 376 Know the functions of the Xylem and Phloem (write the answers in your notebooks).

Review your Photosynthess blanced equation, salton sea  and mayfly life cycle and it  will be on this weeks quiz.

Bring notebook up to date by completing all lab and other activity sheets and sheet and glue it in your notebook.

Study your photosynthesis activity sheet and know what materials are need for photosynthesis and what materials you get out of photosynthesis. Know how to write the chemical formula.

All periods, look over your notes on conduction and convection you have these notes glued into your notebooks. This was last week notes and complete the  water cycle activity sheet that was given to you this Tuesday and Wednesday.  and use it as a study guide for this weeks quiz.

Tomorrow and Friday for the Science Project  I will like a list of all the names of group members and what each group is doing. If you will like to change your topic  we will be  doing  this the last 10 minutes of class.

In order for students to get full credit they must work with 1 other students or 2 other students. Most of the project will be done out of class.

Students are welcome to work in my room during PAWS or After school on the day that I am in my classroom. Students can email me with questions or concerns regarding their project.

Complete lab Activity sheet, remember to answer all the essential questions, Claim, Evidence and Reasoning and on the back of your activity sheet write you lab reflection and include (what you observed, steps you used to complete the lab, what new knowledge you gained, and how is this lab relates to the world). Please write the lab reflection in paragraph form and it should be no more than half a page.

Agenda 1/3/2017

1. Use the Chrome books to Research your favorite organelle and make a booklet and present the booklet to the class.
2. Follow the Rubric for making the Organelle Booklet.

Students can bring in additional materials and they should start to complete the cell. Students must make a key or legend for their cell project.  

Students will continue to build their cell model and bring in any additional materials.

Students will be building a cell model in the classroom and the HW is to gather materials for the cell project and bring  it to the next class which is on 12/8/16 and 12/9/16. So they can start working on the cell project in class.

Please make sure that all the materials that you are purchasing is safe to use and do not buy any thing that you are allergic to.
