Extra Credit Assignment (20 Points)

Good for Mr. Ross' and Ms R. Morris' Classes

You did not need Google Earth but it can help you out. Use http://earth.google.com to download for free but ask you parents first/

There are four place marks that I tagged on our hike through the Baldwin Hills Scenic Outlook. You are to write/type one paragraph for EACH placemark discussing what you observed and what the Rangers talked about. You can turn this in 3 ways:

1) If you download the KMZ Google Earth File attached, you can create a placemark(Thumbtack) for each of the four placemarks provided and write you paragraph in the description. If you save you work in google earth as a KMZ file, you can email me this file for credit.

2) If you download the KMZ Google Earth File and then fill out the Extra Credit Graphic Organizer attached, fill this out and then email it to me for credit.

3) Write about the four placemarks on the hike and then turn in your paragraphs on a blank peice of paper when we get back from Spring Break.

i WILL ONLY GIVE YOU EXTRA CREDIT FOR FOUR COMPLETE PARAGRAPHS
