Welcome to 6th grade Earth Science! My name is Mr. Adamucci and I look forward to meeting all of you. As we begin our adventures as young scientists, we will be focusing on using the scientific method to create hypotheses, collect and analyze data, and form conclusions throughout all of our investigations. I am looking forward to an exciting year filled with discovery, laboratory investigation, reading, new vocabulary and presentations. A tentative schedule for the year is as follows:
• Ecology/ Biomes
• Earth’s Waters
• Topography
• Weather
• Shaping Earth’s surface
• Plate Tectonics and Earth’s Structure
