Description

Welcome to Accelerated Math 7! This class will focus on the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics which address Standards for Mathematical Practice and Standards for Mathematical Content. In order to assure that students are learning the critical information they need to succeed at higher levels of mathematics, the standards stress not only procedural skill but also conceptual understanding.

The following list provides a general overview of the Standards for Mathematical Content.

  • Number System
  • Expressions and Equations
  • Ratios and Proportional Relationships
  • Geometry
  • Statistics & Probability

I will be available for help on Mondays and Thursdays after school from 2:20 – 3:15 pm.
