Welcome to Accelerated Math 6!  This class focuses on the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics

for Grade 6 and parts of the Grade 7 standards.  Students will have many opportunities to develop

mathematical knowledge, skills, and conceptual understanding of various mathematical topics, as well as

become more proficient problem solvers.

_{Note:  This is an advanced course that will be moving at an accelerated pace and covers 1.5 years of math in one school year.  Students must maintain an average of at least 80% in the class for each semester to qualify to be placed into the Accelerated Math 7 class next year. Support will be provided to students who need additional help --- be sure to ask for help if you need it :)}
