Objectives:

• The successful student will develop proficiency in the language by engaging in a variety of communicative activities that focus on developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, predominantly in the present tense and past tense. *Most of Spanish 2 is conducted in the target language (both teacher & student)

• Students will develop cultural awareness and become prepared to encounter real life situations outside of the classroom through discussions of cultural customs and behavior and by reading authentic materials.
