I will be on leave beginning Feb 13th through Monday April 6th (after spring break). Please see below for some important information for Math 6.

I wanted to let you know of some upcoming dates for math class:

Thursday February 27th - Fractions Test; Thursday March 19th Integers Test

Wednesday March 4th CCMS Open House (6:30 - 8:00pm) 

If your child needs help with math, I encourage them to sign up for and attend PAWS.  I would also encourage them to practice solving problems using IXL.  Students can login to IXL through their Clever account. For fractions, they should focus on 6th grade letters K and L.  For integers and graphing, they should focus on 6th grade letters M and X. The chapters in the textbook that would provide additional support are Chapter 4 for fractions and Chapter 5 for Integers and the Coordinate Plane (both in volume 1). In addition, Ms. Monteavlo who teaches 6th and 7th grade math, has tutoring in the school library on Tuesdays and Fridays after school.
