3/20/20 - COVID-19 Update Part 2

Dear CCUSD Families,

As we have noticed this last week, the news and updates regarding COVID 19 changes constantly. As of 3:00 pm today, LACOE Superintendent Dr. Debra Duardo has extended all Los Angeles County Schools closures through May 5, 2020. CCUSD will adhere to the directive and continue our school closure through May 5, 2020. All other information stated in the previous email still applies.

Additionally, the Culver City Community, in conjunction with The Peace Project, is coming together to provide groceries for our neighbors in need.  Next Wednesday, they will be giving out 100 bags containing fruits and vegetables, as well as dry and canned goods. They estimate the value will be between $50-$60, and while they are free, if you’re able to contribute $1 - $10, they will accept it gratefully so that we may continue to serve more families in need the following Wednesday.

They will be following social distancing mandates. To take advantage of this service, please go to the Whole 9 Gallery at 3830 Main St., Culver City, where a volunteer will bring you a bag of groceries.
