ASSOCIATE  STUDENT BODY

Associated Student Body, also known as "ASB," is an elective class at Culver City Middle School. ASB is made up of a group of dedicated students — representing all grade levels — who work to make CCMS a better place for everyone. This student organization governs finances, organizes activities, and represents the student body of Culver City Middle School. Its work includes, but isn't limited to, school dances, fundraisers, assemblies, campus spirit, lunchtime activities, spirit/dress-up days, and communicating

What does ASB do?

Host school events:

Most dances, rallies, and school activities at CCMS are organized by ASB. These events are designed to bring the school together, build Panther pride, and give students a fun break from the school day.

Publicize:

ASB brings creativity and innovation to how events are publicized across campus. From colorful, eye-catching posters announcing upcoming events to delivering morning announcements, ASB keeps students informed and excited. We also use social media to help spread the word about everything happening at CCMS.

Fundraisers:

ASB is able to put on all of these events through fundraising.

Hold Meetings:

ASB holds regular meetings where students discuss issues, share ideas, and vote on decisions together. During these meetings, ASB also handles business matters — such as approving expenditures — to keep upcoming activities running smoothly and avoid scheduling conflicts.
