Mr. Barhydt has been teaching 7th grade English Language Arts at CCMS for eight years. He has additionally taught in Rancho Cucamonga, North Carolina, Colombia, and Chile. He's just now realizing that, along with Culver City, that's a lot of "C's." He's wondering what it all means. He's also wondering whether to edit this out or not. It appears that he's leaving it in.

 

Mr. Barhydt earned his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Southern California and his master's degree in Teacher Education from Claremont Graduate University.

In his free time, Mr. Barhydt enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with his family. He also enjoys the NY Times puzzles. (While he doesn't like to boast, his streak records for Connections and Wordle are 98 and 213, respectively. And, yes, he was devastated when he lost those streaks.)
