Kimberly Palmer is an eighth-grade English Language Arts teacher with over ten years of experience working with middle and high school students. She holds a B.A. in English with minors in Journalism and Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Passionate about fostering a lifelong love of reading, Ms. Palmer creates a classroom culture centered on curiosity, discussion, critical thinking, and student choice. Her students participate in independent reading, literature discussions, creative writing, and analytical thinking that help them develop both as readers and as communicators.
She believes that stories help students better understand themselves, others, and the world around them. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading, writing, spending time outdoors, and exploring new books to recommend to her students.
