I'm Cheryl Stein, an Adapted Physical Education (APE) service provider for the Culver City schools. I grew up in the Seattle area and I earned a B.A. in Anthropology from Washington State University. I later earned my M.A. in Education from California State University Dominguez Hills, and hold teaching credentials in Physical Education, Health Science, and Adapted Physical Education.

Since 2009, I have worked with students from preschool through adult school, helping them build confidence, develop movement skills, and enjoy being active. I am passionate about creating inclusive opportunities that allow every student to succeed.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my my husband Dennis, two children, Watson and Kya, and our dog, Sosha. I love hiking, reading and spending time outdoors—rain or shine!
