Allegra Williams-Stirrat is a Culver City native and accomplished performer, director, choreographer, and teaching artist who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre. A proud product of the Culver City school system, she attended Farragut Elementary, Culver City Middle School, and Culver City High School, making it especially meaningful to now teach within the same community that helped shape her as a young artist.

 

A graduate of Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, Allegra majored in Dance with concentrations in Theatre and Music. She grew up immersed in the arts through her family-founded theatre education program, dee-Lightful Productions, where she began as a young performer before advancing into leadership roles as a director, choreographer, and producer. Alongside her mother, she helped facilitate the organization’s operations while mentoring and inspiring young performers.

In 2023, Allegra joined Culver City Middle School as the full-time Theatre Educator and Performance Program

 

Director. Since then, she has worked to build and expand the theatre program, teaching Intro to Theatre, Exploration of Theatre, and the audition-based Advanced Theatre company. In addition to directing the annual spring musical, she guides advanced students as they prepare to compete in Southern California theatre competitions and further develop their skills as artists and collaborators.

Allegra believes that theatre provides young people with far more than performance experience—it fosters confidence, empathy, creativity, and a sense of belonging. Through theatre, students become part of a supportive, family-like community where they can express themselves freely in a safe and encouraging environment. By stepping into the lives of different characters, they gain a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives and the world around them. Allegra is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion with the next generation of artists and feels equally fortunate to learn from her students and creative teams every day.
