Javier Lopez has been with Culver City Unified for 20 years.  He has taught all grade levels, from transitional kindergarten to adult school.  

 

A Southern California native, Mr. Lopez has been involved in a wide range of sports.  In high school, he played football, soccer, and lacrosse and competed in various track and field events.  

In college, he played on the men’s rugby team at  Long Beach State University.  While there, he studied criminal justice and biology and received a bachelor’s degree and a minor.  Mr. Lopez later continued his education by earning two master's degrees in education and kinesiology.
