Mr. Hoshal joined the 8th grade science team at CCMS in 2024. His prior experience includes teaching high school courses in Biology, Environmental Science, and Principles of Biomedical Science. Mr. Hoshal has a Bachelor of Arts in Environment from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Science Education from the University of Illinois - Chicago. His favorite topic to teach is Ecology. Mr. Hoshal emphasizes creating and fostering a positive science identity in his students -- everyone is capable of 'doing science'. 

 

Mr. Hoshal lives with his partner Kellan and their pembroke welsh corgi, Kingsley. They enjoy hiking, camping, and road tripping to see the beautiful sights of the Western USA.
