Michael Levy
In 2026, Mr. Levy will be entering his 21st year teaching at CCMS and 23rd year of coaching sports at CCHS. Currently, Mr. Levy teaches 8th grade US History and serves as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach. A native Angeleno, Mr. Levy attended UC Santa Barbara for undergrad. After college, he played music in several bands and spent a few years touring the world and making records. From there, he returned to school pursuing a teaching credential from CSU Long Beach in 2005 and a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2011.
Mr. Levy lives in the San Fernando Valley with his wife of 22 years and their two kids, Emma and Henry. Outside of teaching and family time, Mr. Levy is still active in the music world, writing and recording his own songs and collaborating with friends.
