Phyllis Yarbrough has been a dedicated educator at CCUSD for the past 19 years, where I am consistently excited to share my scientific knowledge and passion with my students. My academic background includes both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Health Science and Biology from California State University, Dominguez Hills. Additionally, I expanded my academic horizons through specialized course work and extensive field studies completed at UCLA.
Prior to joining the CCUSD community, I served as a Level One Researcher at UCLA, specifically working within the field of Cancer Control. This professional research experience allows me to bring real-world scientific applications into the classroom. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy a variety of hobbies including gardening, cooking, and swimming.
