Student Interview in Google Classroom

Student Interview

Directions:

Each member of the class will be paired with one classmate to interview. Mr. Kern will decide the pairs, no exceptions, and no trading!

Each pair will take turns interviewing one another. Each student will use the “Student Interview—Question/Answer” handout to record his/her/their partner’s answers during the interview.

After each pair has completed the oral interview process, each student will write two (2) paragraphs about the classmate he/she/they interviewed. Use the “Student Interview—Question/Answer” handout to help. This writing should be free of errors and should be completed in ink and submitted to your class period tray or typed and submitted on Google Classroom.

The final step will be to introduce your interview partner to the class. Be sure to include some of the information that you learned about him/her/they.

You will be assessed on how well you work together (asking and answering questions appropriately), how well you write, and how well you speak.

If you have additional time, you will be instructed to create at least ten (10) additional school-appropriate and interesting questions to ask your partner and to write an additional paragraph about your partner.
