There are many assignments due on Thursday/Friday, so please make sure to read the instructions carefully.  Any work not turned in on that day, will be considered late and will not be accepted without a late pass.
 
1.  Article/Annotations/Questions:  Decreto de Trump
Students will read and annotate the article, including identifying all the adjectives in the reading.  They will answer the four questions that follow the reading.  Lastly, students will write 15 original sentences about Islam using the adjectives identified. Staple work with reading at the top and make sure it has your name .
 
2.  Reading/annotations/summary:  El desierto or El Bazaar
Students will read and annotate the reading.  They will write a three paragraph summary of the reading.  Staple work with reading at the top and make sure it has your name. 
 
3.  Read pages 99-103 answer #3, #4 and #5 on page 103. Make sure your answers are in complete and complex sentences.
 
4.  Interactive notebook due.

Also, please remember that progress reports (for students that have any Ds, Fs, Ns and Us are due on Monday.  If you have any questions about your grades please email me by Monday at 2pm.  I will not be in class on Monday, due to a CJSF field trip, but you may find me before school and after school.
 
I also want to thank all period 4 students and their families for their generous donations to the Pennies for Patients campaign, we raised close to $300 and got first place!  I am truly inspired by all of you!!

This Thursday during PAWs and after school on Thursday and Friday.  Students will be able to retake tests.  For the tests specified this is the ONLY time they may retake the test and ONLY if they have attended an extra tutoring session either Tuesday during PAWs. lunch or afterschool.

ASB is hosting a fundraiser for the Pennies for Patients campaign of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Vocabulary: 50 points (1 point per question)
Students will get word in English and they are responsible for writing correctly the word in Spanish. (No partial credit, if you miss an accent mark no credit will be given for that question.)
