Please take at least 2 shots of forced perspective photos and if you want to share with class, please submit by Thursday.

For this assignment you will photograph the same object in the following types of light:
Top light, side light, front light.  These should be done as INTERIOR shots... meaning, shoot these inside your house, preferably in a darker room using a flashlight or desk lamp.
Then, IF you can, photograph that same object outside in any type of light you have at that time (top light, back light, golden hour light, or dappled light.
Please have four examples that you can show the class (3 interior and at least one exterior).

Submit at least 5 photos of your homemade gel shots.  You can certainly submit more if you like :)  IF you want to share, please submit but class time on Thursday.

Please submit (just write a comment) of what you think our 6th topic should be to acknowledge covid but without calling it that. Right now we have: People, Entertainment, Academics, Sports, & What’s New. Possible covid related words could be "What's Changed" or "Unexpected" or "What's Different" or....???

This page is our MODEL page and this is what we should look at before we design / redesign our own pages.
What I really love about this is that the TEXT is in a proper font... a magazine article text should not be one of the "headline" fonts. To make this feel more like a magazine, I really encourage you to use proper black text and either Avant Guard or Primer Print fonts. I am making this an actual assignment for you to view carefully. by Thursday, I need to see some evidence that you have done work towards a page that you are doing. That can include:
1. Pulling images from the web and uploading to Walsworth
2. Interviewing someone that you are doing a spotlight on (athletes, cheerleaders, ASB, etc.)
3. Starting to put headlines and design ideas on your page, even if they are placeholders.

On Thursday of this week, you will present some ideas for what WORDS or PHRASES should go on our Yearbook Cover Photo, what photo or image should be the page of the book photo, and at least ONE "magazine article" that you want to work on with your partner. You will turn in your ideas on Google classroom.

Please come up with some ideas of what should go in the Digital Marquis (the sign), what the "issue" of our magazine is, any other words / phrases you think should go on the cover, spine, or back of the book.
