Welcome to Accelerated Math 7! This class will focus on the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics which address Standards for Mathematical Practice and Content. We will cover 7th and 8th grade standards that stress procedural and conceptual understanding, with a specific focus on rigorous work that allows students to construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.

 

Because of the fast-paced nature of this class, it is particularly important for students to be proactive in their learning. If the need arises, students are encouraged to seek additional help during PAWs (Tues/Thurs after lunch), after school tutoring on Tuesdays (2:20-3:15 in Rm. 136), and/or by pursuing help at home.
