Welcome to Accelerated Math 7! This class will focus on the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics which address Standards for Mathematical Practice and Content. We will cover 7th and 8th grade standards that stress procedural and conceptual understanding, with a specific focus on rigorous work that allows students to construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.
 
Because of the fast-paced nature of this class, it is particularly important for students to be proactive in their learning. If the need arises, students are encouraged to seek additional help during PAWs (Tues/Thurs after lunch), after school tutoring on Tuesdays (2:20-3:15 in Rm. 136), and/or by pursuing help at home.

*If you have elected to take the CC1 (Equations & Inequalities) Defense, make sure that you turned in your defense form by the end of school on Wednesday, October 10th. Remember that you will need to turn in the following on the day you take the defense:
  • Corrected original CC1 test
  • Evidence of Practice (this can be anything you did showing that you practiced for the defense). See the attached form for ideas on how to best prepare!
