ADVANCED THEATRE ✨🎩
Hello Panthers!
As you are considering your elective classes for the coming school year please know that we now have an Advanced Theatre class. This class will be a year long class, and is by acceptance only.
Included in this class is the CCMS Performances Spring Musical rehearsals for next year. This means that you must be IN the class in order to perform in the musical or to fill the role of a student leader for the production. (Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Managers, Assistant Director, Dance Captain)
Interviews for student leaders will be on Mon May 12, 2025.
Auditions for performers will be on Tues May 13, 2025.
We also will have the opportunity to enter into a competition in the fall! Very exciting stuff.

AVID 🧑🎓
Are you interested in joining the AVID program? AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is an elective class that targets students in the academic middle who have the potential to succeed in a rigorous academic course of study, if given both the opportunity and support. In AVID you build community, receive academic support, and learn skills that will help students be academically successful!
If you are interested in joining AVID for the upcoming school year, please apply using the link below! Applications are due by Friday, March 21st. The application process requires teacher recommendations and an interview. Students will be notified of the programs decision after they complete their interview.

Hi 7th Graders!
APPLY FOR WEB TEAM 11! 🕸️ ❤️
(Team 11, meaning the 11th group/generation of WEB leaders on our CCMS campus!)
To apply to be a WEB Leader you will need to complete the 2 assigned tasks in this Google Classroom. Please review the directions below and follow the instructions to complete your 2 tasks by MARCH 21st. All Applicants will then be asked to participate in an interactive interview during the week of APRIL 28- MAY 2.

- Submit the 2 assigned tasks in this Google Classroom by the March 21st due date. Late assignments will not be accepted. Late assignments will make applicants ineligible to be chosen for WEB.
- Check for your assigned interactive interview date/time. Interviews will take place the week of April 28th- May 2nd. Interview day/time will be emailed to you AND get posted in this Google Classroom. If you need to change your interview day or time, please email Ms. Slemmons at [email protected].
Need help with your tasks or have questions about the application tasks? Come to Ms. Wilke's Room 324 on Thursday, Feb 27th or Thursday, March 20th.
As a reminder, in order to be chosen for WEB, you must complete the 2 application tasks AND participate in the interview process.
Mandatory WEB Dates:
- May Play Day: Thursday, May 29th during Period 6
These dates are tentative & will be confirmed once we we receive the official CCUSD calendar
- WEB Leader Training Days:
Friday, August 8th 1:00-4:30 pm, Monday, August 11th 9:00-3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 12th 1:00- 4:30 pm
- CAMP PANTHER (6th Grade Orientation!): August 15th
