Mrs. Bergonzi joined the CCMS faculty in 2004 and brings experience from both education and business. She earned her Bacherlor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from UC, Santa Barbara (Go Gauchos!) and her Master’s degree in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University (Go Night Owls!). Mrs. Bergonzi began her career in the computer industry, but realized that teaching was her true passion. She returned to school to earn her teaching credential at SFSU, focusing on middle school education.
In addition to CCMS, Mrs. Bergonzi has taught at middle schools in Burlingame, California and Frankfurt, Germany, gaining valuable experience in diverse educational settings. She also worked as a content developer for an educational firm, creating instructional materials and learning resources for teachers.
Mrs. Bergonzi is dedicated to helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and strong problem-solving skills in mathematics.
Outside the classroom, Mrs. Bergonzi enjoys gardening, baking, and watercolor painting. She also loves exploring new places and sharing travel adventures with her husband, Scott.
