Administrative Team

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Culver City Middle School Panther's website. CCMS is committed to the academic, social and emotional achievement of all students.  While maintaining high expectations, our faculty and staff create a supportive and nurturing environment that is conducive to learning.  Our goal is to instill in our students a love of learning, while helping them to develop the self-esteem, problem-solving and critical thinking skills that will enable them to lead successful lives, full of opportunities.

As the Administrative Team, we work with all members of the school community to ensure that our students are successful during their time, not only at CCMS, but to shape successful Future Centaurs! We welcome collaboration between school and families, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.  We look forward to a PAWsitively productive school year for each and every one of our Panthers.

Principal Villafranca fell in love with the teaching profession while working as a special education teacher in LAUSD.  Soon, she discovered she also had a passion for helping English language learners.  Ms. Villafranca became an intervention coordinator and helped support English learner instruction, as well as parent education.  She has worked with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.  For some reason, she prefers middle schoolers and is extremely proud to head the most wonderful middle school in Culver City.

Her teaching credentials include Multiple Subjects with English Learner Authorization and Education Specialist with Autism Authorization.  Ms. Villafranca holds an B.A. from UCLA in History and Italian Studies and an M.A. from CSUN in Educational Administration.  In her spare time, Ms. Villafranca enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and listening to good music.

She is thrilled to be part of the CCUSD family, and is a proud Panther!
