Students only homework is to work on their scale drawing of their bedroom due on Tuesday. See previous posts for instructions.

Students are working on Page 73 of the math funbook. The answer is "THEY FIGHT  KNIGHTS"

Students need to measure the length and width of their bedroom and 3 pieces of furniture in inches. If they don't have 3 pieces of furniture they can make it up. Directions and sample attached.

 

They have already sketched their room from a bird's eye view in their notebook so they just need to add the measurements. We will be working on this project in class on Thursday and it will be worth 30 points.

Attached is the homework and the classwork (Totem pole) in case students want to finish it. Students have their test on Rational Numbers on Tuesday.

Students need to finish the first two columns only as we have not talked about converting to percents. We did most of this in class together. 

Homework (Rational Numbers HW03), Defense form and documents for the defense packet are attached. Students must print the FOUR documents from CC1, Staple them together, print them and complete/correct by next Thursday.

 

The defense documents are titled: "AP - Add Subtract Integers - Totem Pole, GP03 Integer Mixed Review,  HW06 - Integers Mixed Review and Quick Check CC1"

The assigned homework is the HW05 which is mixed review of operations with integers. I have attached additional level 2 OOO practice as well as the DOK 2 questions offered in class for additional practice. Students are welcome to come get help tomorrow morning before school at 7:15. They will need to enter my room through the outside door as the hall doors are locked. 

 

Reminder: Our first test on integers and order of operations will be THIS Friday.

Students were given a practice worksheet for multiplying and dividing with integers. Fans were are on the back. I will post the worksheet Wednesday morning in case kids lost their copy or were absent.
