Math 6 (Period 4) Assignments

Instructor

Term
2018-2019 School Year
Department
Mathematics
Description
Welcome to Math 6 for the 2018-2019 school year! This class will focus on the Common Core State Standards in Mathematics which address Standards for Mathematical Practice and Content. In order to assure that students are learning the critical information they need to succeed at higher levels, the standards stress not only procedural skill but also conceptual understanding.

It is important for students to be proactive in their learning. If the need arises, students are encouraged to get additional help in the following ways:
  • PAWS: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15-12:45 pm

  • After-School Tutoring: Tuesdays from 2:20 - 3:15 pm (students are welcome to come for part of the time or the entire time depending on their needs)

  • Pursuing help at home: IXL is a great resource! Please email me if your child has trouble logging in
