Attached is the handout for the group project. An individual draft while be due on the first day we get back from spring break. Please email me if you were absent and do not know which character you were assigned. I am not requiring that you include any drawing or illustration for the draft. That will be done in your group.

 

 

Notebooks will also be due on the Monday you come back from break as well. I will be checking for The Outsiders chapters 1-3,5-7 reading questions.

The Outsiders Chapter 1 Questions:

 

1) Character:  Copy down a sentence in quotation marks (Note the author's last name and page number) for each member of the Greasers that either describes their personality or appearance.

 

2) Conflict: Find one sentence that describes a difference between the Greasers and the Socs; copy down the sentence in quotation marks (and cite) and explain in your own words what it means.

 

3) At the end of the Chapter 1, Ponyboy believes that Darry doesn't love him and that Sodapop is the only person he needs. Is this true?

Attached is the handout for the Body Bio group project. Students are to create their own individual drafts choosing one of the three central characters in A Wrinkle in Time: Meg, Charles Wallace, or Calvin. In order to be placed in a group, you must have your own individual draft approved by the teacher. I will not be accepting any drafts that has a mirror symbol since that was an example provided by the handout. Students have to come up with their own symbols.
