2. Must include a short message to CCEF:

6. Needs to be created on an entire 8.5x11 sheet of paper

Car Drawing Project in Google Classroom

Car Drawing Project

Project Instructions:
1. You will be drawing a customize car, OR a concept car OR an art car, PLEASE CHOOSE ONE ONLY!
2. Begin by searching the Internet for an actual make and model of a REAL car (example, Toyota Prius, BMW 5, Lexus LX, Honda Civic, Tesla Model X, etc.)
3. Using the make and model of an actual car you have chosen, you will transform by customizing it, creating a new concept car or designing an art car. See
below for criteria of each of.the category.

CRITERIA OF CUSTOMIZE CAR:
1. Must use an actual real existing car to draw from.
2. At least 3 or more Items that you may want to "customize" to design to your personal taste or likes (rims of tires, paint job, muffler, spoiler, interior seats, tinted
windows, decals, lighting enhancements, steering wheel, grille inserts, etc.). These obviously have to be drawn and visible for me to see.
3. Shade using colors or pencil
4. Drawing of car should be large to fit on 8.5x11" paper

CRITERIA OF CONCEPT CAR:
1. Must use an actual real existing car as INSPIRATION
2. Although this is a prototype, car should still look realistic and NOT cartoon-like
3. Needs to have the essentials: door(s), wheels, windows, windshield, etc.
4. Drawing of car should be large to fit on 8.5x11" paper

CRITERIA OF ART CAR:
1. Must use an actual real existing car to draw from.
2. Must select a famous artwork (painting, drawing, etc.) of an actual artist
3. Artist's artwork must be drawn on the car
4. Drawing of car needs to look realistic with details and shading
5. Artwork on car must replicate the original, add colors if needed
6. Drawing of car should be large to fit on 8.5x11" paper

Project Criteria:
1. Choose a HUMAN figure and a specific ANIMAL head to be morphed
2. The position of the human figure should be fun and whimsical
3. If we were actually in class, we would be drawing and painting on old dictionary pages, then detailing with a thin line sharpie. So if you have the materials then give it a shot! IF NOT, thats ok! and draw and use what you have.
4. No background is necessary
5. Human figure must be PROPORTIONAL, it really needs to look like a realistic human body with the head of a ...
6. Animal head may be realistic or a bit cartoony
7. I would LOVE this in color and shaded, but again if you don't have colors then shade with pencil or stipple/crosshatch with pen.

Project Criteria:
1. Must depict a specific subject/theme
2. Subject MUST be the emphasis (in color in the box and coming out of the box)
3. Shading must be shown using watercolor and black pen
4. Drawing outside the box must be shaded using black pen (hatching, cross hatching, stipple techniques)
5. Drawing inside the box must be in color using watercolor
6. Must show an equal balance of color vs. black and white

1-Point Interior Room Project

Project Criteria:
1. Drawing needs to depict a specific room (living room, bedroom, kitchen, game room, etc.)
2. Needs to have a minimum of 3 pieces of furniture (bed, dresser, chair, sofa, table, shelf, etc.)
3. Needs to have 2 windows minimum
4. Needs to have 3-4 decorative items (plants, curtains, TV, art work on walls, mirrors, etc.)
5. Electrical Light source (ceiling lamp, table lamp, floor lamp, etc.)
6. Flooring (wood floors, tiles, area rug)
7. Color using color pencils, crayons, markers, or just shade with pencil

Birdโ€™s Eye View Project Criteria:

1. Must have a minimum of 12 buildings (6 below/6 above the Horizon Line)
2. Buildings must overlap (in front/behind) at least 5 times
3. Windows/brick exterior on at least 8 buildings
4. Rooftops need to have (pool, heli-pad, trees, vents, etc.)
5. Buildings needs to vary in height (some shorter, some taller
6. Horizon Line needs to be transformed into a narrow road
7. No Coloring, No Shading is needed!

Please draw the adult male, adult female and choose either the 6 or 12 year old to draw from. Draw the guidelines and use them as reference when drawing the figures.

Personal Grid Portrait in Google Classroom

Personal Grid Portrait

1. You may choose a ready-made portrait from the "Original Grid Portrait" tab
2. If you would like to choose your own, here is what you may do to grid your original:
a. download the "Drawing Grid Maker" app on your phone
b. Use an image from your photos or download a picture from the Internet
c. Open the image on the app
d. Be sure to check off the "Sq" box and "bw" (this will make sure your image is black and
white and square grid)
e. From here you can print, save and download onto your computer to view or simply just
draw it from there (but I suggest saving it, just in case something goes wrong!)
3. Grid LIGHTLY on loose paper or sketchbook (approx 8.5x11") 2x2" squares. This means the
zero is on the edge of the paper and you will mark every 2 inches (2,4,6,8). Do this
horizontally and vertically.
4. Now, omit any boxes that are not needed by cutting.
5. Begin to draw box-by-box onto your grid paper, no shading yet!
6. When you are done with the line drawing, ERASE all grid lines
7. Use your pencil and paper towel to add shading and blend!

*TURNING IN YOUR WORK:
1. Take a pic of both your drawing and the original (if you used one of my originals, no pic is
needed)
2. Upload/Attach onto the blank document titled, "Personal Grid Portrait & Original"
3. Then TURN IT IN right here, into this assignment

Project Instruction and Criteria:
1. Split your paper intro 4 equal parts
2. Number each box (1-4)
3. Box #1 should depict the first object
4. Box #4 should depict the second object

CRITERIA:
1. Must depict 2 different images/objects in 4 stages of transformation
2. Both image/object MUST share a similar shape
3. Stages must show gradual change
4. Shading must be completed with pencil or stippled using pen (i.e: ultra fine tip Sharpie)
5. Must show at least 5 values when shading
6. Drawings must be large enough to fit into each box
7. Craftsmanship, Neatness!

2. Divide the drawing using 5-7 lines (go all the way to the edge of the paper)
3. Begin by shading one area of the drawing (stay inside the lines and treat the background as a separate space)
4. Show ALL 5 values and BLEND!
5. Do not trace the image, if shading is done correctly the image should stand out
