Theatre Arts Agenda (Week of 4/7)

Agenda Week of 4/6

Class Check-In:
Due to having Monday off, there will be no class check-in this week. They will begin next week on Tuesday 4/14 at 10am on Zoom.

Weekly Tasks:
1. Read through Distance Learning materials, specifically, Balboa Bell Schedule and April Assignment Calendar
2. Review memorization of your monologue
3. If you haven’t already submitted the “Monologue Character Analysis” assignment due before spring break, be sure to submit by Friday
4. Log in to Flipgrid and open the grid titled “Monologue Memorization” and post a video of you reciting your monologue. (More info on Google Classroom assignment)

Theatre Arts Assignments for Week of March 16th

Hey everyone!
I miss you all already! I hope you are looking forward to a wonderful week of distance learning. In order for this to work, you need to take on responsibility and accountability for yourself because it is difficult to wrangle all 130+ of you over the internet. Make sure you are keeping up with posted due dates and assignments.

At this point, everyone should have completed a presentation. If you were absent for your presentation you will be graded on the rest of your content, and will not be given a grade for presenting. If you would like a presentation grade, record yourself presenting the information for your theatre history project, upload the video to google drive and submit the video on classroom to the assignment "Theatre History Project Submission" by Tuesday at noon.

Quarter grades are still being submitted and I don't want to give any zeros, so make it happen!

Assignments for the week:
1. Select a monologue and paste it into the assignment "Monologue Selection" by WEDNESDAY
2. Post an introduction video of yourself to flipgrid by WEDNESDAY
3. Complete the monologue character analysis assignment by FRIDAY
4. Memorize your monologue by the return from spring break (this is PLENTY of time for memorization, you WILL be tested on memorization, so no excuses for not getting it completed).

My "office hours" are from 11am-Noon every day this week where I am GUARANTEED to be available, though I may also be available outside of those times, just send me a text or email to schedule a time to meet (through Google Hangout where we can video chat or audio chat, if necessary)
