Welcome to Ms. Madrid's site! I am really excited for this school year. I will be posting all homework assignments and announcements here so please subscribe!
Materials that are essential for class:
-Pencils and Pens (blue or black only for homework and in-class assignments; colored pens will be used for some notes)
-Highlighters (1 will be enough but having a set of different colored highlighters would be great when doing certain reading activities)
-Composition Book for an Interactive Notebook
-A social studies tab in their overall binder; a binder for just social studies is NOT required; a tab will do.
Materials that would be NICE to have for class but will not be required. I will have a class set of these items for the students who don't have these supplies.
-Colored pencils
-Handheld sharpener
-1 Dry erase marker
-Glue Stick
-A pair of scissors

Powerpoint for the week

Hi All,
Some students were absent on Tuesday/Wednesday and missed their notes on the 5 themes of geography.  I am attaching the ppt for the week so you can locate your notes. The notes were taken as a foldable, so I will also upload the picture of the foldable. The first half of the ppt is in Spanish for my Spanish Immersion students and the second half is in English for my English classes. Thank you!
Have a great weekend.
Ms. Madrid
We created this foldable this week on Tuesday/Wednesday. Underneath each flap you will find the definition and image corresponding to each theme. Students took the time to create their illustrations in class and color them as well.
